where is everybody? I'm still here, though I've been all over lately. Trucked all the way up to Bellingham last weekend to show my sailing stuff. It went pretty well, despite losing half of our team to sickness, injury, and over-drinking. I've eaten dinner out for two of four meals this week, and my parents are coming this weekend so I don't plan on any more cafeteria food for a while. Lastnight was Thai food and an excellent Bright Eyes concert. Today was filled with sleeping and sailing and studying and sound work, and tomorrow is more eating out and concerts. I don't really feel like I'm in school, yet I'm still learning craploads. It'll be a bummer when my wallet is empty and I have to take a bunch of tests. For now, though, I'm fucking pretty o.k. I hope all of you are as well.

If I had to say something, I'd say life is good. My class schedule has turned out perfectly, with a nice spread of the workload over the week and not too much over the weekend. Last weekend was most excellent... It began with a gathering of people for many games in my room. I made the mistake (?) of bringing up the subject of salvia and we decided to go on a quest for it that very nearly took us to canada... we didn't find the salvia, but ran into a really cool bum and came back to campus with beer and had an overall good late-night. saturday I went exploring and shopping downtown with Tara, a very cool freshman that I have been spending quite alot of time with lately. Pierced her nose on a whim and then ended up gaming in my room and drinking gin and tonics and then to a dance party above a bakery with a live band and at least half the campus... all this was deeply contrasted by the symphony I attended on sunday night. I've been doing climbing and schooling and trespassing and jamming of all sorts, and although I expect to have fewer drunken weekends (I have resolved as a result of a challenge, that I will have nothing to drink until the mead is ready), hopefully I will be able compensate that with fungus and beach soon. I've been thinking of getting a cell phone so I could keep in touch with people, (including all of you) better, but maybe thats just pure insanity... later later dudes
