So I'm going to services up in Evanston (where Northwestern is) with this woman who was my aunt Judy's good friend when they were kids. Her name is Gwen Macci, and she called me and started going on about how I simply must come with them because she wants to know everything that's happened to my whole family in the past twenty years. WHOAH, I mean WHOAH. So I'm going to dinner (brisket!) at her mother's house where there will be like 15 people, then services at this reconstructionist synagogue. Reconstructionism is really interesting, the services are actually more traditional than reform (more hebrew, etc) but then their attitude is to think about God however you like, etc. I like that.
