Well. I DO know how to add to the sidebar, but this is a call out to anyone who would like to come work in a fish cannery with me in Alaska for 3-4 weeks in June. From what I hear (and, granted, I need to look into this more in depth) you make like $900 a week and it's utterly hellish work (you may lose an appendage...), but after 3 weeks of that I would've made as much money as I need for school next year and then I could 1) counsel at camp in oregon 2) maybe go to the gathering 3) just sit around in the clark fork all of August. Yeah baby.
I went to a campfire last night. Good fun, indeed.
My room next year is amazing. It's on the 5th (top) floor of Starr Hall, one of the oldest dorms on campus. It has a sloped ceiling, exposed brick wall and a beam across the top. Oh. Right, and TWO SKYLIGHTS from which you can climb out on the SLATE ROOF and watch the sun set over the mountains. Um, yeah. Also, really good people are living there.
Going to Wesleyan this weekend... wish me luck.
