What the hell is this?
I miss all you guys, sorry I haven't been in contact much... I think its like what ledah was saying; just takes a while to get settled. Heres a quick sum of what I can tell you. I've been busy. Lastnight there was a fire in my dorm. I was stuck outside for a while in my boxers and bathrobe. It was cold and there were flashing lights and big, scary firemen yelling. I went into another dorm and tried to sleep on the hard floor but it was too noisy outside, I spent the whole time quietly swearing. Two and a half hours later I was finally able to go back in. I didn't wake up till twelve, what a waste of a day. There's a crapload of stuff to catch up on here. I'm good. This school kicks ass. Classes are good and so are the professors. I'm taking sociology, Acting, and physics in addition to the core class called Inventing America. The only bad thing so far is plato's republic, which we had to read in like a week. I'm learning how to sail and maybe getting a radio show. I also joined the black student union and a couple other clubs. My roommates are all very cool. We are on the fifth floor in a fairly large room. We have a megaphone that we use to yell at people below. Riley and I are hanging quite a bit; we're putting together a few ditties for the Portland Saturday market and playing Frisbee and going to the goodwill bins, where you can buy clothes for 1.30 a pound. I'll let you figure it out. Check it out. The other is a video that was shown to me by a friend here. Its called BARAKA, its 30 countries, its no dialogue, its 70mm beautiful filming, its kick ass music, its comparing humanity to the eternal, its AWESOME. You might want to just go ahead and buy it. Since mine is the longest one here, I'm going to stop.
